STRAP between Iori's legs?

every1 out there most probably knows how 2 use Iori especially his (Back Brain Kick), just wondering how did he do that with the STRAP in between his legs? or is there a reason for that?

Yes, I've noticed the strap between his legs, and have often wondered how he manages to execute a split kick, or be able to move so gracefully with it.

I've never had the desire however to post a topic, and inquire about the matter...

yes i have also had thoughts about ioris top down attack. How exactly does the belt just become longer? THe belt should always be that long. Though granted then what happens when iori walks? or runs? will he trip over the belt?

they're called bondage pants.

i think they were popular way back when but i think stores like hot topic (blech) sell them.

a few of my friends have them; they're a little different, but they've reportedly seen ones like Iori's.

Bondage pants are populary used in some subcultures. People who listen to harsh electronics (industrial,ebm and so on) tend to have at least a pair and they´re also used by marilyn manson fans (?).

You can buy a pair at <a href="http://www.blackrose.co.uk" target="_blank">www.blackrose.co.uk</a> and pretend you´re iori...

they were poular in the punk era. I found a few stores in Japan that carried them in Harajuku. They were at about $200 though, and the quality of construction was not good.

Of course the maximum size for japanese pants = 32 US. And even that is snug.

Those pants just add to Iori's coolness.

I had a friend watching me play in the arcade who'd never seen KOF, and he laughed at the character design at first.

Then I had a successful round, pummeling the stuffings out of an opponent... his reaction was priceless.

"That guy rocks! His attitude is just: 'I can kick your ass with my legs tied together... I don't even need proper posture.'"

I figured that was the best explanation for the presence of the leg strap thing.

Yeah, they're a kind of bondage pants. Some Japanese kids still wear 'em. Not punks though, they listen to a kind of music called イメージ
image. They basically dress up like American or English Goths, lots of makeup for both boys and girls. Freeman from MOTW also reminds me of those kids...

lol... well those certainly dont look as cool without iori wearing them. =p i have some regular leg belts though. Just like i guess think of say chipp from GGXX has on his leg. something like that shrug.

anyway i still think iori looks really cool and giving him a new costume would be a bad idea.
