who should be the main team in the next kof storyline ?

it should be the garou team. it's long over do, terry is the stongest fighter in the snk universe, is so powerfull to the point of being called a legend. i think it would be the right choice it's getting a little borring this kyo\k story lines that have the swame fire handling type as main character.
they should bring the tournament back to it's roots giving it a restart bringing back carimatic characters like geese,krauser,mr.big, yamazaki,billy,eije and others.
this doesn't mean i want them out of the kof series i just think the series need to gain again the magic that once had and that was lost in the nests story line

Any team that doesn't have K'. I've seen enough of the "brooding hero with a mysterious past" cliche'. Let's see a hero with real emotions (and different fighting styles; just how many people do we need wielding flame powers?) take center stage.

this'll never happen, but I think it'd be cool to have a team of kyo, iori, terry, and geese, if they keep the 4 team striker stuff. It'd be cool to see rivals team up, otherwise, I think the Orochi, or Garou team would be good

I wanna see Iori as the main hero! Give him some cool new partners and have him get his own chapter in KOF history..... rather than being Kyo's rival all the time.

I would really like it to be the garou team but i wouldn't mind if it would be another like the AOF team they deserve it to. One of this two would be great

It doesn't matter if the Fatal Fury team is or isn't the main team for the KoF series, Terry Bogard has always, is and will always be the No.1 fighter of all the fighters in any universe.

Nuff said.

I would like to see the Fatal Fury team as the new main characters. Axe Blue Mary and put her on the ladies team. The new ladies team would then be Mai, Mary, King, Chizuru (hopeful). Add a new male for the Fatal Fury team maybe a young Rock perhaps?

Good idea! They could put Kim in the garou team and Jhun in the korean team. That would be great because Kim is a friend of Terry and is a character from the garou series so he would be at home.

I would love it if they made two Korean teams

team one: Kim, Jae, Dong, & Mei-li
team two: Jhun, Choi, Chang, & Kang Bedal

The next main character is a KOREAN character that suposed to use taekowndo so SNK is a bankruncy,( a is a parent or a menber of the family of Chang and Choi or a descendant legendary korean hero that destroy a korean version of Orochi or the thing more powerful, anything see a korean mytology?).

Personally, I'd rather have Kyo's team resume the main team role. Ryo, Terry, and the rest of the AOF/FF characters have had they time in the spotlight in their own games. Doesn't make sense to me for them to be stars in two game series. Haohmaru returned to main character status in Shodown IV; why can't Kyo?

The AOF doesn't has they're series anymore ,at least they don't release a new one in ages and with the current state of SNK they probably won't have one again( hope not).
The garou team probably lost( really hope not) theires the day someone came up with MOTW; i like this game but the main character isn't Terry anymore, Kim is dead, Joe and Andy aren't in it.
The King of Fighters tournament is Terrys' tournament since FF1. So give Kyo and all Kyo wannabes a minor role in the next Kofs, create a new story line with new main characteres that have nothing to do with wielding fire.

I'd like to see, at some point, the Ikari, AoF, and/or FF team receive the limelight (in chronological order).

And for the love of pete, lay off of Kyo and his amazing friends already. I actually like the character and his moves, but the whole team just sees ridiculously overrated in general (Ryo, Takuma, and Robert could take anyone on the Japan team one-on-one with ease IMO).

as for the FF team i would want to see either kim cuz snk havent shown much of the friendship between kim and terry.

probably a young rock but snk would make him slow or something.

gosh and the AOF should have a permanent fourth member cuz its either gonna be king or yuri probably year after year if SNK keeps going <IMG SRC="smilies/mad.gif" border="0">

Considering how many post for this topic have asked for FF or AOF characters; I'm starting to wonder who're the overrated characters. I liked the Hero team because of diversity, something the FF and AOF teams lacked. Every character had an anti-air move when KOF began and everyone had a projectile. Benimaru relied on speed and Daimon was a grappler and neither had a projectile. As much as I like them I still wouldn't want the FF or AOF teams taking over as leads in this series. If that's the cast we may as well make Terry and Ryo the respective main characters of Samurai Shodown and Last Blade. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">
