How come there havent been any KOF 2001 movies surfacing on the net? I thought that mmcafe would have loads of them by now...Doesnt anyone bring a camera to Neo Geo Land?>>>

If you need some KOF 2k1 movies, just play 2k or 99, 2k1 is the same game, with some new art (or so ive heard)

they simply LOST it after 98....


a shame


on top of that,
2001 isnt even SNK made


but i still wanna see it

cos i bet it will be better than 2000


and its still better than nothing

Fran, '98 is overrated. How many times do I have to say it.
Recycled '97.
2001 is gonna rock. If Caris is right and this is like 99 and 2000, this game will rule all.

97 and 98 are like SF Alpha 1 and 2.

Similar games, but Alpha 1 was blatently incomplete (capcom rushed to get it out, 2 was supposed to be what SF Alpha 1 was).

KOF has gone downhill since 98, before 98 it kept going uphill, getting better every year, system getting better, MORE Characters every year (what a concept).

2000 is lame, 99 is close to lame, and from what I HEAR from Japanese people that have accually played 2k1, it's 2000 with 4 new characters and lamer artwork (did you see Terry's select screen pic? He looks retarded).

KOF is tired, and i'ts getting played out worse than capcom with the VS. series, it needs a make over BAD, or maybe just stop making them all together, and start on another series...

98 is KOF in it's purest, perfect form.

Whats with all the 2k bashing? Besides "its lame" or " it sucks" whats so bad about it? I will admit 98 is better, but 2k is a great game in its own right(just a dif. style from 98). If you get into the combo system there is so much shit you can do, its by far the deepest KOF. And if your only problem with it is the cheap infinities and shit, then just dont use them.

kof 94 = da shit
kof 95 = da shit +

kof 96 = brand new start,cool as hell

kof 97 = disappointing

kof 98 = perfection

kof 99 = lame

kof 00 = super lame

they LOST it after 98........

kof right now is a circus


i say get rid of the strikers


kill about 80 % of the chars


we need a brand new start,
just like in 96

Well i gues it depends who you play with. Its not like 2k is the only game with infinites in it, 97 had alot also. I will agree that alot of the newer characters suck(bao,hinako,ramon,whip,lin)but there is still 20 something characters that dont suck. Other than a few characters, and the bg's it's a solid game.

Kof2000's quite good in 1 player but I went back to playing Kof98 and was really bored with the game.It might be better in 2players but 2000's new combos/strikers/countermode own it for free for variety.
Playing Robert/Andy/Kyo alt K striker team at least chases away the been there done that combos of Kof98.It is turning into more of a jugglefest2000 for me than strikerfest2000.
