If you are a true fighter in KoF, then learn to fight without strikers, bunch of cowards, ever since strikers existed, no one can win without them, and i personally prooved it at a local arcade in my town, and believe me, when those strikers are gone, no one knows what to do, not totally, but they become nearly useless.

I have never in my life used a striker, because i am a true fighter of KoF, as much as in the game as in real life, i never ask for help when i fight on the street, i fight alone, and let's say 5 out of 7 fights are mine.

So, which will it be? Living as a coward? Or as a true KoF fighter?

Damn straight.
Striker reliant players are morons who get beat ass up in a real fight.
Turn the strikers off in the KOF 2K cart, and then you can see what I am talking about.
Strikers allow those lousy cheesey infinite's.

I often used ABC in the pre-striker days (especially in kof 97/98 - shermie cleavage, yow!), but the idea there was to break out of a lousy combo or throw. However, the concept is similar considering that option is now gone.

And I don't like strikers, except as decoys...

if you know how use a striker...good for you. If you don't know how use a striker...good for you too. The idea is be a good player with strikers or with out strikers is win a challenge of other player or machine. The striker are 1 option of the fight. Anyway a good player of KOF know how use nay character (good or crapy) that's all.

I'll tell you what. Allow me to use the strikers, and I'll beat you playing the game one-handed and with RANDOM. Yes, you can play your favorite team too.
I will use no infintes, I will also not execute SDM's when a striker has you, example king's qcf p into a striker such as Benimaru or Maxima. I can do those basic combos with one hand. I can prove them to you if you do not believe. Go down to SRK.com{I think it's in the 808 playahs thread} and you'll see that other people give me props on my one-handed skills. If you can't beat me when I play one-handed, imagine your chances when I play two handed.
I do respect all those who have taught me how to play. I also do respect these two guys named Ma'an, and Remukhan because they have done so much for the KOF community of game players.

Hey Lone Wolf, I apologize, for being so rough on you.
I don't like being called a coward, since I believe that I try to play in an honorable way.
I do not ever, unless it is done to me first. Execute any MAX super on a player who has been attacked by a striker. What skill does it take to sacrifice a hit to call Syo/ Seth to hit the opponent and launch him/her up and execute a SDM. Or what skills are involved when a player continues to do a command move into a striker such as Benimaru, Yamazaki, or Maxima for example.
I also do not tolerate infinites. Even the Ramon one, I do a variation of it, by adding a D somewhere in it, the D is placed there so that the opponent has at least that one opportunity to get out, therefore it is not an infinite. An inifinite is when an opponent has no chance to get out. That Joe, Vanessa Robert etc. thing. That F-in sucks.
Lone Wolf, I hope the people that you play against, don't abuse the strikers. If they are not abusing the strikers and using them to create nice combos, then it is worth having them in the game. If those players are using them as a way to take shortcuts, I really can't help you out, then I'll support you all the way, by saying Strikers for those types of players are cowards.

Strikers are just another facet of the game. If you want to master the game learn to use every part of it. I enjoy KoF with or without them but I'm sick of hearing people complain about 'em.

the idea for strikers may be innovative but at the same time, the striker's priorities may be abused such as joe in kof 2000.personally i like teh idea of using strikers but i try not to abuse them.i also try not to pick joe as a striker at the arcade.i usually go for seth as an alternative to joe.yeah, turning off the option for strikers makes kof 2000 feel like kof 98!

Strikers may be a part of the game, but anyone who abuses strikers makes the game more like a scrub. Imagne a scrub beating an expert when accidentally the expert made a mistake and the scrub did an infinite combo on him. Doesn't that sucks?

Well,I fairly hate strikers because its nothing but a cheap feature, interfering between fights, become decoys, make stupid combos(espcialy joe!!!).Everybody knows a third-party interference between duels was unhonorable and damn sucks. To make it easy, imagine when Stone Cold beat the hell out of ,say The Rock.Suddenly Shane McMahon comes in,hit Stone Cold's head with a steel chair and run away. Then The Rock pins the unconsious Stone Cold.
How's that?Was it fun to watch!!!? <IMG SRC="smilies/veryangry.gif" border="0">

Anyone who uses anyone during a battle will always be a coward, a true warrior fights alone, one on one, man to man, mano a mano, but it seems to me that i am the only man in that game.

Of course, when i accidentally or stupidly activate the striker, i let the other player defeat my player because i have dishonored the code of a true fighter.

So don't give me that bull of strikers are okay if you don't abuse them, no, strikers will never be okay, never in my life have i used someone during battle, and i never will.

Lone Wolf, I guess you feel strongly towards this. If I ever challenge you, I'll keep that in mind.
I think it will be a good fight.

I'll tell you what, I'll play you in this manner then. No command moves and no death moves. I'll ask you this,Does a man to man fight involve throwing projectiles and the rest of the command moves?
In fact, I think I really can beat you with one hand. If you are the man you say you are, will play me one handed, no special moves or death moves, all random, no strikers. One on one? Play the way of the true masters? Why the hell do you need two hands for.
I have occasional bouts with an allergic reaction called contact dermatitis, which makes it very difficult to bend the fingers on my right hand, almost to the point where you could permanently damage the skin and possibly the nerves, if you bend it too much.
Would you challenge me, if I couldn't use my right hand, and play me using both hands.
If I had no right or left hand, would you play me using both hands?

Lone Wolf, I really think you are that good. You must be, if the striker thing upsets you so much. You must be a true old school player. I can agree with you somewhat. I'm just testing you to see how true to your word you are. Because if you are, then YOU ARE A REALLY GOOD TECHNICAL PLAYER. THAT IS THE BEST TYPE OF PLAYER. A player who can use every character as good as his /her best character is a good player.
Lone Wolf, who do you play, if I might ask. I prefer to play King, and any three random, but In our arcade it is taboo to even pick one character. Anyone who does becomes a target. Those who have participated in the gentlemen's agreement to not pick any character's, will attmept to defeat a person who plays a team in which his/her characters have been manually selected.
Please tell me you play random. Don't disappoint me, by telling me, that you speak ill of players who use strikers, and have not chosen to appreciate the game for what it is{This determination is made by you, and is different for every player}.
I won't lie to you, I always change my and thoughts when someone gives me a new way to look at things. Today I might be an asshole to you, tommorrow I maybe one of your biggest suppporters.
