Is it me or does everyone else seem to like billy kane but he still is very underated as a character?

I think a cool new look for him would be to get rid of the bandana.

My brother likes Billy a lot. I think he's cool. His attacks are really good too. I like his RB2 version best, then KOF 98.

Yeah. Billy's a real cool character. I love his RBFF, RBFFSpecial, RBFF2, KOF 97, 98 versions. Hes got that kick ass staff, and that "Go to hell!!" DM.

What's also interesting about Billy Kane's Bo Staff is that it's actually two weapons...a long staff and a three section staff.

However, I feel if Kane should return in 2002, he should have some attacks without his staff or in case that he loses his staff. He should be a like Vega a bit, when Vega lost his claw he could still fight, right? It would be interesting if Kane could throw a jab, a hook, or a front kick or something before regaining his staff.

That is such a good idea, that is a great way to give Billy some fresh life (not that he isnt great as he is but new things are sometimes good for old characters)

I like Billy's character design, I like his moves, I like the way he moves on screen, I even like him when He's being used by a human opponent. However Billy is a sumbitch when the computer is controlling him.

I think the reason Billy Kane is underrated because of his usefullness in KOF. KOF is played more than other SNK fighters, and in those game's Billy's not exactly the best character in the game. In the lesser played Real Bout series, Billy's a monster, and dominates many fights. When a lot of players think of Billy, they perhaps only think of his fairly weak showings in KOF 95,97 and 98

No way, Billy is the bandana and the staff. Take away either, and he wouldn't be Billy anymore.

BIlly Kane is one of the best characters I've ever seen. Definitely one of my faves...and my old avatar. If he came back...maybe a broken staff? I'd like to see him use the pieces...he definitely needs to come back if only to be recognized for the bad ass he is.

I've always enjoyed playing with Billy, although I used to think he was bald until I saw some hair under that bandana in '97. Hell, I even dressed up as him for Holloween one year with the staff and everything. I made a replica of his costume from Fatal Fury 2/Special. lol Yeah, those were good times. But now, I can't beat Billy to save my life on Real Bout. Oh well, life goes on. At least he got rid of those suspenders....

I agreed a lot, because Billy in FF series can kick´s you ass in all distances..., is a chain combo master and good for punish in all distance, but his SDM in that game is less usefull that their DM, a contrary in another characters of FF and AOF in KOF, Billy is tuned down dramatically because there are another fave-roster.... and they didn´t give more upgrades for Billy because in not a another myte of another games because Robert,Terry... .

A talented kof player CAN be a monster with Billy. Like all of the fatal fury lottery team, the key to using them well is in the counters. If you learn those, you can dominate. In addition, his tap A can dissipate fireballs. Coupled with his far reach, Kane is a great choice for pokers. <img src="graemlins/mrt2.gif" border="0" alt="[Mr T]" />

She is a kick ass fighter and her Character design is really smart concearning SNK wanted to make a sumo character for some time and instead of a big butch guy we got the sweet little pretty Hinako,.... Brilliant

Actually Billy can be damn near unstopable even in KOF. I've taken out entire teams with him in KOF 97 with no problems.

Couldn't agree more. Billy Kane totally dominates the fights in the Real Bout games. In RBS he was too cheap, Billy Kane players would turtle on the opposing plane and abuse the great reach of Billy's line sway C.

So in their style, fucking the opponent with their large attacks and uses their DM with a fucking craziness when their life is red, too CHEAP, but is the same manner to a cheap Iori or a cheap Takuma in KOF for a cases...
