I mean, KoF2001 looks even closer to the 1998 game, The Fallen Angels. It would be really funny if SNK allows old Psikyo staff to work on their game, after completing plaguerizing Fallen Angels (K' and Maxima most obvious).
Is eolith comprised of Psikyo's old fighting staff?
