kof 97 or 98?

i want to buy one of these carts now but i cant make up my mind, which one is the better first buy ? <img src="graemlins/drool.gif" border="0" alt="[Drool]" />

I say make a move for 98 first. The KOF story isn't all that, plus I have both of them and I play 98 much more than 97. It's the best KOF to date. ;)

For Christ's sake, 98 is the best one and much better than 97. I have NO idea why people, outside of story, would say 97's better. There's people out there that say it is. 98 has more characters, better backgrounds, more and better music. Just BETTER. Okay, 97 has a great endboss and story, but that's it!

'97 for several reasons

1.It has Blood Riot Iori
2.Much better single-player mode
3.IMO, Playing '98 feels like a chore. '97 feels much faster.

'98 is nice if you got a second player, which I usually never have unless I bring my neo into work.

The right answer is '98.

If you can afford to get both, get both. They're both great games.

But '98 is a much, much, much better game, so if you can only afford one cart, make it '98.

I would take 98. It's good because it has many characters and you'll play it a lot of time.

I would also go with with 98, 97 is a nice one, i have it on mvs but 98 imo is the one to go for. :)
