I like the teams better this way than before. Return of the Hero team, and no more Jhun!!

I wonder how K9999 will play like.

Some of the things that I find interesting already after reading the article on MMCafe:

1. The "original" Team Japan is now reunited, now that Kyo and Goro is teamed up with Benimaru... and Shingo rounds off the cast.
2. Whip leaves Team Ikari and joins up with K's team. Team Ikari becomes the "deadly" combination of Heidern, Leona, Ralf & Clark. This is going to be interesting...
3. Kasumi Todo is axed again in the "Lady Heroine Team" and is replaced with Li-Xiangfei. I like Xiangfei, but If anything they should have taken out Hinako.
4. Dammit! BAO STILL LIVES!!! WILL SOMEONE KILL IT, PLEASE???
5. Kula's team looks quite interesting... Foxy would obviously become one of her teammates, but who are the other cast members?
6. Iori takes alongsie Ramon, Seth and Vanessa. Again, a rather odd combination. And Ramon needs to die.
7. No solo characters...

Plus the option to have anywhere from 0-3 strikers on your team... it sounds pretty odd, how is that going to work? If you have the choice of three strikers to help out your one player, how do you call out each ne individually... or is it at random?

Me hopes that the beta testings reveal some interesting things about the gameplay... will these extremely easy infinites be gone from the game? Will Strikers not be such a key component of the game?

And... will there be an OFFICIAL home cart release, Japanes OR English?
(Wait... don't answer that right away... )

I talk about China, since Team China is the reason why I played KOF in the first place. Chin, Athena and Kensou are just some very interesting characters to me.

HOWEVER... Bao needs to die... Yes he can be effective, but it doesn't take away from the fact that he's just hyper annoying. Any other idea for a character would have been better, and to be quite honest I would rather see Karou (or maybe someone pretending to be Karou's Brother) in the game.

My views on this:

Kyo team - Definately the team I wanted to see more than any team since this striker nonsense begun.

Ikari team - Heidern returns. Can't say I'm too shocked by this one. As much as people bitch about Robert being the Guile of KOF; I can only wonder why I have this feeling that the original Guile rip-off will be welcome backed with open arms (Yeah; I know his moves look nothing like Guile's but he still was all charges and to an extent turtling!).

AOF team - I liked the 99 team better anyway. Nice to see it's back to an all Kyokugenryu team.

K' team - With the exception of Lin, another no brainer.

Women's team - I'm actually shocked that Hinako returns. Considering the fact that CPU Kasumi's turtling antics for 99/2K were working my last nerves, I don't think I'll miss her as I did back in 97.

Korean team - Not a big fan of the team, but I was amazed that Jhun was removed (Of all 99/2K characters to take a hike, I would have prefer seeing Bao, vanessa, Seth, or Whip leave.).

FF team - Another no brainer. I knew either Mai or Mary was joining the wolves this year as opposed to Rick, Alfred, etc.

Iori team - This team makes as much sense as the 97 special team. Oh well, I can only hope Iori takes out his partners again this year; thought I would miss Ramon.

NEST team - Well we all knew one would show up eventually. We get Kula, Foxy, and Angel (I don't mind this newbie.), but what's up with K9999?! And where's that chick from Kula's intro (Roxy?!). I would've liked to seen another all female team.

Psycho Soldier team - Bao returns...great. That turd better have learned something other than how to throw a fireball.

Armor mode's gone - YES!!! There is a God!

Super canels have been added as opposed to Counter mode; well I hope it's as restrictive as in the Last Blade games.

Wire damage system; I know I'm not going to like this one (Sounds like juggles; but on the ground. Won't be surprised Chang excels with this feature either.).

Cancel striker system (See above. Damn; can't we just get rid of strikers altogether!!)

The new striker stock usage; well I'm all for this. I prefer DMs over strikers anyday.

Tatical Order Select System - Have to see it in action first; though I'm already having my doubts. Not to sure about only fighting with only one man and three strikers.

Hopefully all unneccessary systems can be turned off like in previous KOFs.

Don't forget you can play 4 against 4 with no strikers if you want, just make a rule in your local arcade that you have to pick 4 v 4 fighters. Hmmm... it will go well in tournys. I like this idear because of the special meter is now the striker meter, so if you pick 4 regula fighting characters, the special meter should take very long to charge up... Personely i would like to see dm/sdm's became reguler moves with slightly more damage added compared to mormal special techniques.
Also the wire damage system (hopefully) might be like this, example, terry does a weak burn knuckle then dashes in to perform his crack shoot then a rising tackle. Inotherwords i think it may be like last blades fwd + c button kick flyback attack, but you recover faster to perform your extra moves. Whadaya think.
