Instead of doing the crossover B (which Kriz counters 99.9% of the time with his DP + P) do this:
Find a way to knock him down, then keep about half a character's distance from him.
Then do fwd + A, QCB + P x 3. NEVER do the Stand B in front of his face. It's suicide. He'll nail you with either his throw (which is unescapable and has priority over almost anything) or his DP + P. With the fwd + A, because Iori fwd + A reaches so far, you'll be safe and the A.I. will be too stupid to defend against it.
Also if he begins cheezing you with the tornado kick, try predict when he's gonna do the next one, and roll right before you think his next one will come out. 50% of the time Krizalid will attempt to either do that rushing grab thing or the rushing grab DM. If you roll early enough, he'll end whiffing and you'll block it. If it's the rushing grab, because you get pushed back so far, the only thing that'll counter it will be Iori's QCB + A x 3 - notice, A version now. After you knock'em down you can begin the cheezing process.
If he does his DM, be prepared to either GRAB him or counter with a FAST normal. His DM is just like Vanessa's cheap rush DM. If you don't retaliate right after you block it, Krizalid will be able to grab you (just like Vanessa the ()#@ can do after her DM whiffs).
Other tactics - send in a striker. Any striker that forces Krizalid into a block position for a long time will work. Most of the time Krizalid is too stupid to counter you when you call your striker. If you use a long-lasting striker like - say - Yuri, send her in when you're in close range, if he fails to block it, good, you can do a DM then run after him and cheeze him. If he blocks it, jump at him and do a jump-in attack, preferably his jumping A or C. Krizalid's pretty stupid because he blocks a majority of your attacks low (even though he doesn't have the animation frames for it), so when you try to do the last hit of Iori's Deadly Flowers (which is an ovehead) he'll get hit.
Also, if you space yourself correctly try to hyper jump over him. Compared to Kyo, Iori's hyper jump is slow, but if you get lucky, half the time he'll try to DP + P you but will whiff (because he DPs the wrong way). This should be your opportunity to counter him.
I've played Krizalid thousands of times so I can tell you these tactics are fairly reliable. If you're desperate, use Hebretto's Counter Mode tactic. Kinda boring way to win but it'll get you that first victory against this cheap bastard.
These tactics don't work against the level 8 PSX or DC version or Krizalid. They fixed his blocking bugs in those games. <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">
