Which character did you mean in the 2nd combo

And if you meant Kyo(2000 version)'s qcfx2 + A/C there's no shortcut, you just have to be very fast

For Kyo in KOF99.Crouch B(keep holding B),qcf C,qcf A or C(release B).Since u r holding down B,Kyo will not perform his DokuGami.Or u can replace crouch B with jump B or jump D not jump C.

Well I never knew that Kim could connect his Crouching B into his Standning C

And as for holding the buttons and then releasing them that's gonna be hard to remember especially if your versing someone

Shortcuts
---------

Clark-hcb + C, hcb + C(into UAB)

Terry-qcb,f + A/C(power geyser)

Kim-qcb,f + B/D(his ranbu DM)

Leona-in air,qcf + D,hcb + C(into V-Slasher)

For the Kim combo, I'm afraid he got it incorrect:

It's this one:

crouch A, Stand C (1 hit) charge dwn, up + K.

This one's pure skill...

Begin in the crouching position charging down. Do the crouch A, then when you think you know when you have the timing to get the Stand C to connect, let go of the joystick, do the Stand C for 1 hit, then press up + K.

If you can't get the combo to work, try Stand C (1 hit) charge dwn, up + K by itself first.

Personally I think I've found way too many KoF bugs by myself by accident. My friends know me for this uncanny ability I have. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I have a one for finding out combos. If I had KOF2000 I wouldn't live the house,I would be stuck in the same position trying to find out how many different ways I have to do a 100% combo with Leona Striker with everybody

Kyo's Low B into Close C is very easy in 2000. Here's a good shortcut to use for the combo:
- Low B, QCF, Back+A, QCF+A.

As for Kim's, there is no shortcut but he can link his Low B, Low A or his Close A into his Close C... I know for sure they all work in '98. He is able to connect a Close C after a jab is because his Close C is fast; however, the timing is crazy.

I think there's one.. goes along the lines of HCF, B + P but I dunno, this shortcut seems kinda iffy.

If you want to link a Stand C into his rush DM Ryuko Ranbu the easiest way to do it is this way:
QCF, QCFD (that means to roll the joysticm from forward, to down-forward, to down), C, QCB + P

This will allow you to combo his crouching C into his DM in one motion.

If you want a shortcut for his stand c, fwd + A, rush DM combo, a fairly easy one is to do a dwn C instead, hold C, do QCF + A, let go of C, then go hcb + P. holding C will allow you to do the QCF + A motion without releasing a special. The game will still read it as a QCF motion, but just not as an indication to do a fireball, just his command attack.

Me? I used to use the shortcut, but now I just do Takuma's combo manually. More easier and looks more "skillful".

Yes like Iie-Kyo said you should learn to do these combos manually, practice makes perfect(I spent 2 hours trying to do Takuma's qcf,hcb + A/C DM from a Crouching B,Crouching A,forward + A and I still need practice)

The only shortcut I use these days are for Clark's Running 3(hcf,b + C->hcf + D) and UAB(hcb + C->hcb + C) and Ralf's DMs

Practice Iori's Stand C, fwd + A, DM combo. Exactly the same motions as Takuma's combo except Iori's combo is a little more lenient on the timing. I believe I'm one of the few at the arcades that primarily use the Stand C, fwd + A, DM combo. KoF 2000 has become such a defensive game that few people ever want to combo his DM from Iori's standard normal combos.

Well most of the time players like to do his Crossover back + B and then do a Standing B or a Crouching B to confuse their opponents. You don't get that with the Standing C since you can block it high compared to his Standing B/Crouching B which must be blocked low

This kept on happening to me till I figured out one day that I could crouch block that Crossover back + B.Now it's not as easy to beat me with Iori other than Scum Gale

Well hebretto here is a tip to get of this situation i.e. when your opponent (Iori) crossover you just do the AB roll try it it is very usefull and you would never get cought by Iori's overlap or crossover attack
