How can you mutch up with the throwing fireball characters like (king,k,takuma, mai, bao, terry and the striker is seth) men I find it hard some times to attack when seth is sommond and they just keep on throwing firball at me. here,s the situation seth is moving towards you they just keep on throwing firball's at you and all you can do is to guard untile seth is gone. :( :( :( I need your opinion

here is what i do with these kind of players..

i select Yamazaki as my striker. whenever they start doing so, i call my yamazaki. although i do get hit by their fireball but Yamazaki holds them for enough time that i get recovered from the fireball and then i kick their butt.

just make sure u have characters that are good with Yamazaki striker. also make sure that u have at least one power stock when u call Yamazaki, so that u can punish them real hard for playing cheap.

the people at my place has stopped using this strategy because they know that its not gonna work :D

AB roll or back + AB for back roll when Seth is about to hit you

But what's your main concern? The block damage from the projectiles?

If you are going to use a striker like Yamazaki or Seth why not just use the classic and just use joe and end the discussion.

I don't think that Joe can do much if your at one end of the screen and your opponent is on the other side

You can use Alternate Iori for that

yes, joe is useless against that kind of players...
A.iori sometimes work but he also gets hit in the way too either by the projectiles or by seth.

the easiest strategy is to do AB roll to avoid seth and call Yamazaki, u will get hit by the projectile when recovering from AB roll but Yamazaki will get hold of the opponent in the meantime.

No, Alt.Iori comes out where you are located, not your opponent...

Run forward, and roll at the right time. If you time it right, you should end up right in front or back of them while theyre still recovering from the moves animation. Use this opportunity to start a combo with something like K's standing C, or Marys standing D. That or run up and jump in, and then do the standing, whichever youre comfortable with. YOu wont have to worry about them sticking to it because, if you have your combos down, after youre done there wont be much left of them anyway. Especially with a duo along the lines of Mary/Yashiro. If you play them again, and they just wait to call out Seth so that he takes you out when you come out of the roll, just do it a second time using someone like Yashiro to knock the hell out of Seth before he can touch you.

Thats what I do with K' players that like to fireball cheese until you jump in so they can do the kick up after the flame into his super. THeres just too many of those types around here.

What character you're using can also help to fight against fireball happy characters with Seth's striker. If you have a character with a reflector, use it. Kula's reflector is the best: reflects fast and any other projectiles while be negated (King anyone?). Whip can do her dp+D if you anticipate their fireball from the end of the screen, while Vanessa can teleport immediately in front of the character with upper-body invulnerability, avoiding the fireball.

fireball happy?
use k` or kula.
kula's SDM(the white screen attack, but I haven't tried her ice geyser SDM) can take out seth striker, fireball and still hit them(I think)
They are anti-fireballs characters
Oh ya, you can also super jump and CD them
Try chin
I used his breathe fire DM and it beat everything.....

The key is in the timing of the roll AFTER the run. Seth is slow during the walk, and you can get past him. Also, I covered taking him out with your own striker, calling them during the roll, if they hold off on Seth to hit you when you come out of the roll. The only person this would be a problem with is King, since she has a double fireball and things would be MUCH harder to time, if possible at all... But, again, that would all depend on the placement of Seth.

1. bluff & watch ur back @ da same time if he's using K/Lin.
2. watch da 1st frame of da fb scheme. then jump & CD ur opp's hed it'll hit both player & striker @ da same time.
3. roll forward, roll back. this gives u an opportunity 2 watch u opp's patterns & also wastes time if ur huge lead in life & times runnin out & turtle.
