Is Zero playable?

Greetings Orochinagi members, I consider you the most knowledgeable people on this board when it comes to fighters, just like I'd consider the BB posters at KOF4ever experts on KOF. So I'd like to know if Zero is playable with a modded Neo-Geo.

You gotta mess with certain DIP switches to get an actual Neo Geo system to play Zero. Same goes if you try it in NeoRageX.

There was a topic somewhere talking about this, but I don't know where...?

r u sure that's da correct code, coz my technician pal says dat there is only 1 dip switch dat connects all 3 of them & did u use da debig bios? where did u get da code?

i found this on a site about zero:

He can be selectable by Dip-Switch method.
1.Switch on Dip1,Dip2 and Dip3 (Debug Bios needed)
2.Enter Kula code : On Whip press start, to Vanessa press start, to Seth press start, to Maxima press start, to K' press start, to "?" press start, Up and Down.
3.With Kula selectable, on Kula move down

Another thing, the code only works on modified home cart systems.

It only works for home systems. and a modified one at that.

Ok, seeing as this question is not REALLY answered, I'll answer it fully.

#1. To Select Zero on a home system normally is not possible. He is locked out from being playable at all. Now if you are one of the people who own a modded home cart system, You can select Zero with the Code listed above by Iori. If you're more curious about this or have any other questions check the Faq I wrote on this site for more details.

#2 You can play Zero in the Arcade but, It involves turning on Dip 1,2 & 3 on the board to get the code to work. I PERSONALLY have never seen this version of this code work but I'll not debate it until I try it myself.

Not much else to say but Zero plays cheap in human hands, No Striker use at ALL seeing as he jumps in then jumps out. I hope this answers your questions more fully as to this code. Laters...
