I beat him a few times, using Terry and three strikers. It's a gutsy technique since Igniz won't let his guard down any second. But using one character only allows you inflict an incredible of damage.
I must say I beat Igniz three or four times out of many, many tries...

I've beaten him once using iori.He is a bitch to beat thats for sure unless you know how to outsmart him.

Ive played the game probably about 40-50 times (thats scary to think how much money ive spent on this game, and Im gonna buy the cart soon, ouch) and usually its 2 player, but ive never beaten igniz, hes too hard for me

Igniz is one hell of a tough boss.I actually manage to beat him after countless tries,using Iori and Kula.(the other 2 i put in the striker stack).

For better chance at beating him, just use 1 fighter (and therefore 3 strikers), thay way you can deal alot more damage.

Actuallu,to beat Igniz is quite simple if you use my fave chara: RALF.
Just keep on performing his super mega punch at right time and avoiding his attacks...he will be shot 3 times or so and he will be soon over.

thats da truth, u play single mode better than da other 2, 3 or 4 modes.

I finally beat the game!!!! Im so stoked, I never knew there was a continue service, I usually just leave the machine in anger at his cheapness. So today I bravely put in another quarter, picked 1/3 life then beat em with my Kula, Iori, Hiedern, striker-Terry team. It felt great to finally beat the damn thing!!
