KOF 2001 on DC?

hello, I just heard of a KOF 2001 release on the sega dreamcast, a import release only. It will
be one of the last games for the DC. I not 100%
sure but only word of mouth from the person who
claims he has it. Has anyone heard of this?
Remember people, I'am posting this on rumors, its not official news.

Sorry that this ended up in the wrong section of the forums, scewy computer problem. This KOF 01
unofficial news is still new, don't have hard evidence though so don't bight my head off.

Its most likely 99% not true. I follow the release dates on the japanese dreamcast and I check the stores around here. MotW and the KOF99evolution are the last titles. I wish this were true though, i would buy it in a second...

We have seen that companies like bleem were able to convert on DC games that come from other supports. If KOF 2001 is released on PS2, perhaps some oe will convert it.

It's possible it could come out, but whoever you know that say they have it is straight lying.

Also if it were to come out on DC, it sure as hell wouldn't be released by SNK.

It might come to the ps2.There are a lot of rumours on this and even the magic-box.com posted it as unconfirmed.About the DC,yeah DC sure as hell is capable of handling kof 2k1 but its dead.

No way has kof2001 come out for dreamcast in Japan. I've been following the Japanese release schedule pretty well, there is no way that kof2001 could have slipped passed me.

I would like to say that maybe it will come out in the future, but fat chance on that. The DC is dead, only super big titles(ST4) and digital comics are on coming out on it now. Past March I think the release list pretty much dries up.

A PS2 version should look nice though.
