My favorite striker in KOF 99 is Athena,becouse she heals you HP(this is very good for PvP games,when time is not much! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">)!
The strikers ,lowering enemies Special's energy are very useful to,but Athena <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0"> can't do this.

Ralf , cuze u can easily connect some combos after his punch attack.

if u count in kof 99 evolution for dc,its seth.he is a real good striker.

for kof 99 in neogeo,the best striker IMO is clark. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

In '99 Evo it's Seth, Dark Yamazaki, Dark Chizuru, Athena SP, or Dark Gai.
In neo-geo '99 it's Yuri or Ralf.

Well for Evo I'll go with Dark Yamazaki, Dark Syo (maybe Justice), Vanessa, Justice Gai and Justice Kyo

For the normal KOF99 it would be Kyo (real) or Yuri

Clark and Yuri seem to be the strikers of choice. Joe when used wisely is very good.

Ralf is a good defensive striker because his galactic phantom is difficult to link.

Robert could be better, he just comes out too slowly.

I find that Seth is toned down heavily in Evolution, leaving my choices with Syo(J), Vanessa, lv3Yamazaki (D), Gai (J), Both Extra Kyo's.

1)Yuri (As she can charge up and do a close special if enemy is in reach)
2)Terry (As the Overheat Geyser can be easily pulled off on enemy, and extra combos can be added, andy is good at adding on combos to this move IMHO)
3)Takuma, as I think he is kinda like a shot stopper.
4)Robert: what can I say, he rocks as a combo striker!!!
