Rugal: Greatest KOF Enemy?

I don't know but it seems SNK likes Rugal a lot, he is the only KOF boss to appear in more than one KOF (three for that matter) in KOF 94, 95, and 98. He has two forms which both are very powerful,he gets a major overhaul in 98 and becomes stronger, he is very cheap in Capcom vs. SNK, and he is one of the only fighting game bosses to be the absolute final boss in three different fighting games. In addition he always seemed to cause the most trouble for the fighters, such as defeating Saisyu and killing Heidern's family. He may not be the greatest crime boss in history(Geese Howard is)he seems to make the most appearances as a boss in KOF.

Yeah, I think Rugal is the most "popular" one <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

He had many appearances and was not as easy to defeat as other SNK bosses (Krizalid!).

Anyway...he's no match for Mizuki! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Rugal is the only one who appeared in more than one appearence. He was the boss in '94, and returned in '95, and again in '98 (with a better costume, in my opinion). He was definately the coolest of any of the bosses. Hands down.

Agreed. Rugal is definitely the coolest KOF boss, and the only one that matches Geese and Krauser for overall cool factor in KOF universe bosses.

I also think Rugal has the best boss music.

Yeah Rugal is the best boss of KOF but not SNK, Geese is my favorite SNK Boss, and my favorite music is Geese's music

Orochi could take rugal any fucking day of the week! that guy just looks so damn cool with the orochi mark on his chest.

i mean, come on, when you see orochi rise up with the giant blue fire wave behind him how can you look at rugal the same way?

as for the weakest kof boss...

even though i haven't played him, Goenitz or the stupendously unskilled Krizalid.(although krizalid did have some mac daddy pimpin SDMs... oh well. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">)

Zero sucks rocks.

He's the worst KOF boss to date, though Krizalid comes close. Maybe we'll se Rugal return in Dream Match Revival...

I'm with you on that one wagesofsyn, except I did like Krizalid a little bit, and his song. But his song sound like a variation of Rugal's.
Listen to KetchakuRD and Dear Falling Angel and compare the similarities.

You really are fool,my son Omega-Rugal in KOF 98 can easy beat 10 of yours Orochis,using a single move (QCB+weak punch).This is the infinitive block killing trick for PvP,if you don't know!!!

P.S.the name is Rugal not rugal,you loser!!!
