Everyone seems to hate Bao and I know a lot of poeple who were extremely glad that he died in KOF 2000. Why? I know his fighting style may not be the greatest, but I always found him hilarious. Plus I don't think he was that bad as a striker. Why does everyone hate him? Not to mention Xiangfei, Hinako, and others... <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0">

He is very fun to use to annoy people. I rarely use him, only when I want to piss off a friend of mine. Since I am a big Athena fan, his moves were quite fun for me. But I really dont like him...

Personally I think Hinako is a lolita (hope you people know what that means). Regarding Bao, well anyone that uses the following words deserve to die (I don't know why, but I just hate it when they say it) - "Psycho" and "Ball"

Count me in to the Bao hating fraction.
Man his voice sucks, his moves are unbearable and the whole character design is one of SNK's worst in the last few years. (I guess they've spent all their energy in the oh-so-cool K' <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">)

Except for the reason NeoTurfMasta gave...it's damn cool to be able to kick everybodys ass with such an annoying character.

this was the first player I selected when I
played the game for first time!He has a lot
of projectiles and he is not really fair one!

Bao sucks!!! He's an annoying little turtling bitch. I can't think of a way you can play with him offensively. And that annoying phrase "psycho booool" man, it's been giving me nightmares since '94. And that's the bottom line cause LY said so.

Why was his ending for 2000 so similar to 99? Could they not think of anything interesting to give him as an ending (like killing him for REAL?!)?

Bao is not dead, he will be back. Ending always contradict there meanings later on (well some at least)

I agree. As much as we want Bao dead, SNK will not kill him...*sigh* We can only hope that Bao has different clothes (the other ones sucked) and that maybe his voice will change.

Hmm,
He keeps dying and he wears orange.

Maybe SNK should just call him Kenny in KOF 2001.
But I'd rather him be gone for good in 2001
I personally believe he's worm food since you saw his soul disincorporate from his body in the 2000 ending
