A few years ago a friend and I heavily got into KOF '98, and played it pretty much every time I visited his house.
We then progressed onto net play, and proceeded to win pretty much all our fights (with random characters, natch).
Then we never bother to play online and he 'upgraded' OS and we couldn't use two joypads at once.
Anyway, one day I decided to play online and discovered that I'd forgotten a lot of the combos and even some moves! After six months away from KOF I was playing like someone who didn't know any combos.
The moral of this story is . . .
play KOF everyday!
