preview of KOF 2001 new characters?

i went to kofonline.com about several months back, and i noticed a scanned image showing three unknown characters.
i assume that, they might be those characters who will appear in KOF2K1.

Hi miaka. Well i need to inform u that the link isn't showing the full pic..maybe there is a problem with my isp or something.
Anyway, did u know that Miaka is the name os a girl in the japanese anime "Curious Play",
who is the central character.

This coming from kofonline makes it questionable as anything in the oast that came from vincent was fraught with problems.

No idea but if this is from a Chinese website (it looks like there is but maybe this is a lotta Japanese Kanji) I wouldn't totally rely on the info.

Huh? This picture? Well, the article first came out before KOF2K, so it was speculated that those 3 characters were new characters for KOF2000, not KOF2001. Turns out, if I'm not mistaken, that those 3 characters were from some other SNK artwork or something.

In short, those aren't preview of KOF2001 characters.

Shinkiro drew them for another game or it was his own creations. They don't belong to any KOF game. I may be wrong but they were used for Buriki One or some other game.

As Fat Cat Lim pointed out, those characters were rumoured to be 2k's secret characters in addition to kula. But apparently the Hong Kong magazine printed the rumour to promote sales, it was a total bluff.

KOF2001? Probably around October/November.
