Still haven't played KOF2K yet, but...

Seth? Reminds me of Boeman from Rival Schools. Have to see him in action before I can tell.

Venessa? Cool looking character, but I hear she's a boxer (My least favorite type of fighter.).

Hinako? Haven't heard many good things about her design wise. Makes me more eager to play as her.

Lin? Heard he's pretty good; but has some cheap combos though. Have to see him in action.

Ramon? See Hinako.

Kula? I'm liking what I've seen of her so far (Illustration if you had to know.). She might join the Jins as one of the few bosses/sub-bosses/hidden characters I do like.

Zero? The only Zero I like is from the MMX games.

My vote for coolest newcomer...Kula

Kula is one of my all time favorite characters in a game and id have to pick Lin 2nd.

Agreed, boxer-type characters totally conflict with the playing style I'm used to, namely being able to move around and be able to do... let's see... KICKS?!

Kula's too damn overpowered in my opinion. Yes, she's beatable but only with some patience. I hate how the computer plays Kula.

Zero reminds me of one of those Nazi dudes but... in Japanese. :P

I say Ramon. He's weird. I like weird and funny characters (Kensou!). Lin's weird, but a different kinda weird - disgusting weird.

Vanessa is so cute, and cool.
Kula is pretty much a female K imo, with ICE elemental powers for once.

I hate to go semi-off topic here but where did Kula get her powers from? Does she have a glove like K' does? (Well, according to the 2000 ending K' doesn't need the glove anymore).

Well, Kula is like an anti-K' character and she is cute. And her Freeze Execution SDM is deadly! I'll vote for her for first place. Then I'll choose Seth & Vanessa, both are good fighters and are very stylish.

Kula and Vanessa are tied. Kula got her powers from NESTS, kinda like K'. yes, she does have a glove like K', two actually.
