Any help? KOF 98 is one of FOUR games i own
on the Geo (i am poor). i love the character
and would like to know what other games she's

Chris is male. He hasn't hit puberty yet though.

He is also playable in The King of Fighters '97

Chris is definitely a guy though he's voice is actually done by a lady. I've never thought of him as looking like a girl.

Chris is in KOF 2000, but not exactly playable, that is unless you consider calling out a Striker as playing them. For that matter Yashiro and Shermie are in there too.

I also thought Chris was a female when I first saw him in King of Fighters R-2 (which, btw, he is in...if you have a Neo Geo Pocket Color).

When I first saw Chris character portrait in '97 I thot he was a she....but I soon realise his true sex. The only other game beside KoF'98 which Chris appears in is KoF'97 in which he has a storyline. There's a difference between him in '98 and '97. His normals are different and some of his specials are animated differently. But if u are speaking in terms of combat strength, he is stronger in '98 but his orochi self is not as strong as in '97.

Chris is a he....

Anyway......he appear in KOF97 and 98.......re-appear in KOF2000 as Whip's another striker

That's right. The '97 NFT ending isn't exactly the happiest.

As for Chris & Co. returning in '98- KOF'98 is actually a "Dream Match" which never happened in the storyline. The KOF story went on hiatus after '97's defeat of Orochi, then picked back up in '99.

How he appears in KOF 2000 as Another Striker for Whip, I'm not sure.

all I know that Chris, Yashiro, Shermie all died after KOF 98 and I think Mature and Vice also died at the same time too , cause when you use them as strikers in KOF2K they blink especially Mature&Vice, they just do the move and blink off

It's just part of the Dream Match mentality. KoF was created in the spirit of having various SNk characters mmeting in one game, so 2000 tried to carry out the trdaition to feature as many SNk characters as possible in the form of strikers, hence u seee pple like Nako appearing.

I personally think that Chris is a cool character. He has that extendo flame that reaches far across the screen. He also has that uppercut move that he does when he double hooks his arm with flame and he has that move when he does a firey jump toward his opponent. He is a good character to use once you get used to him.
