Vanessa... The Queen of the Fighters!!!

After playing KOF2k for the past few weeks, I gotsta say that Vanessa is one of the best characters in SNK history. She's a quick moving, offensive oriented player, and she's hot (this is the the first time I've ever said that about a video game character).

And if the pre fight interaction between her and some of the other female characters are any indication, she's a lesbian, or at least bi (there is the whole suggested interest in Ramon, after all).

I know there have been many effeminate/bishonen characters in SNK games, but, except for Vanessa, Mature and Vice, are there any other females in SNK games whose sexual persuasion is suggested to be something other than hetero?

I know, this post makes it seem like I'm some kind of sad, sad pervert ('echii!!!), but it's more about my interest in the characters in the SNK world, their personalities and their interaction with one another.

She's married (occupation:house wife). So, straight/bi...Just pointing out as well.

Seriously, she is my favorite of all the new chrs from KOF 2000.

OMG Bobak she kicks ass! i love doing qcb + D, then f + A/C. fucks people up! Her SDMS are SO easy and SO COOL to cancel into. She is definitely the best new character in KOF2K. Thnx for all the info on KOF2K Bobak, you're one of the main reasons i bought the game! (JAP version, don't pull out your guns!)

Yeah...Vanessa is easily one of the better female character designed in years. Whip is so-so while Hinako is downright bizarre. Vanessa is stylish as a fighter basically she's the compilation of all the boxers designed by SNK so far, however she's still weak in some respects mainly she has no decent anti-air and she can be sweeped out of her stances and teleports.

IMO Vanessa is VERY strong. Unfortunately, she beats out Leona this year. She's extremely quick.

The computer Vanessa is scary as heck.

I have a hard time thinking Vanessa is 'hot'. Attractive yes, 'hot', I'm not sure. It's because I know this girl IRL who's name is also Vanessa and this RL Vanessa is kinda like one of those um, girls that will claw at you with their nails if you piss them off. :P

yeah vanessa is a very good attacking player.her moves are very fast and gives u high damage

Vanessa is a counter player, like rock howard in motw only far far more technical. Learn to dodge weave at a split second and counter, learn to use her high low counter punches, learn to move around without walking or jumping, but by just using her dodge weave into shift into dodge weave - It really throws your opponent off.

She's fast, she's great counter player, but she's weak, some of her massive combos take only 1/4 damage. Also note her sliding punch goes under fireballs like Iori's DM.

There is also the fact that her QCB + K series makes her one of the best anti Fireball characters on the planet when Mastered.

except 4 her low tick/poke/range game, vanessa is still a threat bcoz of her infinite combo w/c is a double edged sword or triple threat if any 1 of u can master it, plus she doesn't need strikers for her damaging combos..strikers r used 4 defensive purposes.
