Well, I'm not sure now that you can change the controls on '94, but anyway...

My preferred set up is:

C - soft punch
D - hard punch
A - soft kick
B - hard kick

But, even tho you can set the controls up like this, it never works in the game <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

The best I can get is the opposite to the above. I don't get it, has anybody else had this problem. I find the default really uncomfortable to use, so if anyone can give a solution I'd be most grateful.

Cheers peeps :D

I never bother with changing the controls on the games when playing them on the AES. You can't change them while at the arcade and as my idiot best friend proved; it's damn near impossible trying to explain to a newbie how to pull off moves when they've reconfigured they button set-up. That dumbass!!!

Here's my suggestion: try to get used to the default light punch/light kick/strong punch/strong kick setup. Once you get the hang of it, it'll become second nature. And as noted, you'll also be able to play in arcades without embarrassing yourself.

If you don't already have one, it also helps to have a controller/joystick that has the four buttons lined up in a horizontal row, like the AES gold system sticks or the controller pro.

Thanks for the help fellas :)

The only prob is - I'm used to my set up, I've always played on AES KoF's like this - I only just got '94, '95, & '96 to complete my collection.

Oh well, I'll give it a shot.

Cheers again :D
