- When KOF first came out, it was fantastic. Very original and great replay value. Popular SNK fighting engine, flashy moves, tight clothes on characters, and a cheap ass boss that could probably only be rivaled by a Robot Hitler. 8 years later, nothing has changed.
- I have recently heard that KOF2002 will come out, a rumour, but I heard it nontheless. I expect it to have the same engine as KOF94 and all the preceding KOF games. I also expect it to have a cheap boss and a popular following.

I don't understand these types of people. And can someone explain this to me. Why do some KOF people, take 2 steps in 3 seconds yet they walk much faster? It's like they are gliding. Are they?</strong><hr></blockquote>

Nope, homos have their own fighters. It's called the VS series by Crapcom. In those games everyone who's too gay to become a KOF player can mash the buttons with 1 hand and masturbate at Zangief with the other 1. 'sides, everybody knows that SF is damn full of homos: Ryu & Ken, Guile & Charlie, Dan (he wears a *pink* gi OMGW!!). Not to mention that SNK has yet to create a character as openly gay as SODOM...

I liked the first Fatal Fury game and the SS series. The KOF series was really cool at the beginning, but the game moves so unrealistically, it's not very fluid. Now don't take me for a Capcom fanboy, but the characters in 3rd Strike and Alpha 3 move very realistically and not too fast like in KOF. Which gives the illusion that they are gliding across the ground, cause their walking animation dose'nt match up with their actual speed. In CvS1 and 2, this is changed. If they moved like that in KOF with realistic speeds it would be better. The hits look like they have about 2 frames of animation. From no kick, to instant kick. I mean, all this is due to the same engine that has been use since KOF94. I don't hate it at all, the character designs are cool and all. But after Iori, they are all rehashed "cool-looking suits". I mean, look at SF bosses. Bison, had the general suit. GIll has the thong, and his gameplay made him the closest to a SNK boss, fucking cheap. Akuma, standard shoto suit, but evil as hell. Raging Demon is still one of the most original moves. But overall SNK has made more cooler and original moves. I have never had a problem with SS or FF. Only KOF. Metal Slug is pretty fucking cool as well.

Oh yeah. That's true. But at least the screen is big enough to avoid them. See the large playing field of Versus games gives it one large advantage over KOF, massive mobility. Flying, air dashing, teleporting, all of these make the game more fun since your not just stuck on a screen sized playing ground. And yeah, everyone picks Cyclops... Your ignorance hurts my brain.

Your investigation is void.....KOF is a whole different style than *Cough* Sterotype Street Figther Alpha 3.

Like everyone said, things can be different to what fighting games originally been. By the way, World Heroes(I know it'sn ot from SNK but ADK) seem to have the same feel as Street Fighter.

Samurai Shodown has ancient Japan style of creative samurai genre with their characters, but Last Blade shows a different taste on modern japanese samurais of 18th century(During America-Europe trading routes)
