somthing strange in KOF 96

i was playing KOF 96 and this was after i beat it, i dont know if that has to do with it, well i started playing
and the computar wasnt picking regular teams, but it was just picking random players for the CPU.
Like the first team i was against was Kyo, Iori, and leona.
Anyone know why?
I just found that kinda wierd

CPU did that in '95 too. Sometimes it picks edited teams, sometimes it goes with preset teams, but there's one team that never edits. In '95, you never fight an edited CPU Iori team (it's always Billy, Eiji, Iori). In '96, it's the boss team (Geese, Mr. Big, and Krauser are always together).

It didn't start doing that after you beat it... it always does that, and it's random.

Same goes for '97. CPU Teams can be edited, but the NFT and '97 special teams will always be together

It does that when you hold down the 'A' button after selecting your characters.
