Recently i've been playing as Seth a whole lot more, i have a thing for these brutal boxing characters maybe because you actually feel like you're inflicting pain onto your opponent. I think seth has a cool design, hes like Mr T with a suit, his specials are awesome especially the one when he takes his opponent down to the floor and beats the crap out them its also a great countering move. Why they made so much fuss over him in KOF99 even though he was only a striker is beyond me  but in KOF2000 he really comes into his own. The reason i started this post was because i've only heard people saying bad things about him and wondered if there are any like me Seth fans out there??

Seth is one of the shittiest characters ever to appear in KOF. He's got the mohawk haircut going, so he's clearly supposed to be some kind of reference to Heavy D!, even though Heavy D! is about 1,000,000 better than Seth.

Seth's moves just look incredibly stupid, partially because they have so few frames of animation, and partially because they're just stupid ideas for moves. The one deal where he hops in the air while standing up completely straight, then lands on you has all of one frame of animation. That move looks like the foot from Monty Python. Also, his one DM where he lies on his back and kicks you in the ankles is just a joke. No serious fighter in the world would ever do that in a fight.

Seth is a piece of shit. Fortunately, Vanessa is pretty cool, especially since she has so many classic boxing characters' moves, including Heavy D!, Rick Strowd, and M. Bison.

Me..mah fav.

Strong as hell, especially in 2000. With strikers such as Vanessa, Yashiro, and Joe, this guy is invincible.

I like Heavy D and all but i don't think hes even in the same league as Seth, also i see you mention "serious fighting" moves but since when has KOF tryed to be realistic, i mean you don't ever see any guy in a red cap jump into the air saying "power dunk" do you now, but Terry's a god anyway.

Yeah, right! And setting your body on fire, and doing a flaming bitch-smack IS a serious move?? (Kyo's Orichinagi) That low-ankle-kick move is funny as hell, and 90% unexpected.

Bison boxes...? Oh, wait... you're talking about Balrog... For a minute there, I had this image of Bison (Vega) whoopin' my ass, Mike Tyson style! "PSYCHO EAR BITE!!"

Seth rules. Finally a black ( and non-stereotypical ) character who is strong and can hold his own.

I don't quite like seth(i know he is good).
But i think seth makes a good striker rather than a main fighter. When i play kof 2000, seth is part of my team but only as a striker.
I don't like his DM where he lies on the floor and then kicks his opponent's ankle.

Seths personality, clothes, and hair are cool, but that's as far as it goes for me. Heavy D would rape him.

Terry is a god, and the power dunk is a pretty unrealistic move, but tell me this: What would you do if some guy challenged you to a fight, then he lies down on his back in the dirt and tries kicking your feet, while saying, "Aw yeah, let's go, bitch! I'm going to 0wnage your shins! Yeah bitch, come on!"

I don't know about you, but depending on my mood, I'd either throw a table down on the guy, point at him and laugh, or just walk away, shaking my head.

Heavy D! wasn't stereotypical. Yeah, he was a boxer, but he had serious style--it was pretty clear he wasn't intended to be a parody. Seth, on the other hand, is crap.

Seth was good as a striker but now that KOF 2k2 has no strikers ,I think he shouldn,t be in the game .......... I don't like the counter moves (you'll miss 70% of them) and his design is .... bad

i actaully like that kicking special, nobody ever sees it coming and it sure looks nasty and anyway he doesn't kick them in the shins. I will agree with the counter moves though you do seem to miss a lot of them, apart from that special counter. I'm afraid to say that Heavy D was stereo typical and Seth would own him anyday.
