Question about Shingo...

Do you think Shingo will control a flame in KOF 2001 ?

Shingo is not in the Kusanagi clan and thus he won't ever control flame. At least not the same flame as Kyo's or Saishu's.

Also, in case you wonder, Shingo is not a woman and don't hope he will get bounce chest as Mai's in KOF 2001. (J/K) <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

Good idea for shingo's Fan but i think this is not possible.

Shingo has no flames thats why some of his moves are copied from Kyo but there is other stuff thrown in for the lack of fire like the burning Shingo.

I don't think that he will control flame. He is and always will be a WEAKER version of Kyo. Even though I am good with Kyo, I am 10 times more pathetic with using Shingo.

Shingo is 10 times stronger than Kyo. He does not have projectiles, but his supers are very strong and many of his specials are auto critical hits. They seem to do about 10-15% more damage than Kyo's. You just have to play him close quarters, unlike Kyo. Kyo and Shingo are very different characters. Shingo is more akin to Clark than Kyo.

Shingo will NEVER be able to control flame. The Kusanagi/Yagami flame isn't from their ki, it's from heritage. That's why it kinda upsets me that Kyo is the KOF hero; almost all of the other participants developed their powers from training... Kyo, Iori, K', Leona, and the Orochi characters got theirs from their blood line. They're more akin to mutants, than regular people. Knowing this, it's rather impressive that Shingo's as good as he is, using copied moves, isn't it?

well...shigo could shooth himself up with some kyo dna (or even iori for that matter) and get some flames (ala K') <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

or he could get little flamethrowers implanted in his wrists <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

What if K's glove (the one he rips off at the end of KoF 2000) has a mind of its own. I mean Shingo finds K's glove after the destruction of Southtown and puts it on for good measure. When he returns to Japan he begins to wield crimson flames like his mentor, but doesn't know why and with that theory, I am guessing that Shingo will be the new hero in the KoF series, I mean why not.

If Shingo has the ability to wield flames, his DMs would have more impact, for instance, when he does his Burning Shingo, the flames begin to ignite after each punch and the explode with the last punch. But, that is just me. Shingo is beginning to grow on me.
