What do all the KOF gamers here think about one, Benimaru? I just want an overall consensus on Benimaru.

Benimaru is in his own league. He's is so powerful,quick and chic. I think, that Capcom made a mistake placing him in the ratio one class.
I wish one could pick the other Benimaru striker as a playable character. Is Remy from Third Strike going to be in CvS 2? He's such a Freeman/Benimaru ripoff.

I like Beni a lot, and his ending in 2000 only increased my respect for the character. Sure he acts a little too... sensitive, but he's one of my favorite SNK characters. I'm glad he's started standing in the spotlight, what with Kyo deciding to be a lone wolf now. I wish Andy Bogard would do the same thing... Though Andy's not as strong as Terry, he trains CONSTANTLY. I think there should be a game featuring Andy and Mai... Maybe a tournament against the other SNK ninja clans?

I think he is pretty cool though I do not use him very much. He is quick and deadly and he has some very cool combos.

He is good though he does act a little like a girl but gameplay wise he is really good in the hands of a master. He is fast and deadly and as Shin-Hidoshi put it Capcom made a mistake in making him ratio 1 he should have been at least a 2.

He does look like what you said though he does not suck he only sucks if you suck then that would explain it.

I think he's a pretty interesting character. He reminds me of a hybrid of other SNK characters but I can't put my finger on who quite right now.
But controlling him, I swear I feel like it's deja vu.

(I don't use him much)

Overall, a cool character, but pretty strange.... kinda like Jeff Hardy! LOL.

Benimaru is actually one of the later characters that I learned to use after mastering the 'mainstream characters' first. I still think he's cool though when I mix up my combinations a bit.

I wish Benimaru would get a new outfit though. How's about some Versace outfit or something, or a D and G suit. Benimaru is the Snk Version of Super Saiyan Gay Trunks or something, as a character he is so fun to use.

Gameplay: Quick and easy to use, downright CHEAP in counter mode.

Appearance: If you look at his older stances, you can see he's bulked up. But still, come on... he MUST be gay! His profile even says he's into interior design!

hes ok...kinda gay lookin' if you ask me. especially another benimaru in 2000...omg dudes should never EVER wear short tight shot shorts like that. that totally makes him look like a homo

Yeah... the general consensus is pretty correct: Beni's cool, but looks REALLY feminine! Even Kyo rags on him about his girly ways (see their ending in KOF '97). Still, you can tell by a bunch of stuff that, even though he looks funny, he's a ladies man. Also, if you check out his profile, his favorite thing is... himself. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">
