Well, can he? He was a clone of K' to start with, so all they need do is clone him again.... maybe a new Kriz will appear in KOF 2001? He'd make an interesting Forth member of K's team (Along with Maxima and Whip) Maybe he'll be the new main character, getting his revenge on NESTS?????

Y'know... you kinda got a point. Maybe when Zero eliminated all the clones, he eliminated the ability to make more clones of K'? 'Cause you gotta admit, there're no more Kyo clones at all, right?

Yeah, after Krizalid failed to acquire the "trigger data (K' and Maxima were originally moles to bring out the 'killer instinct' in their teammates)," Project Krizalid was abandoned and the data acquired was transferred to Project Rising, I believe (whatever that is, either it's the Zero Cannon or something involving Orochi; in any case, Kyo apparently helped them get 10 years ahead of schedule).

As for Project '00, all that came of that was the destruction of Southtown. But to answer your question, I think NESTS gave up on the clones after Project Krizalid "failed." (They never really refer to it as having failed; in fact they say "TRANSMISSION OF CLONE DATA... SUCCESSFUL. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. ALL OPERATIVES (i.e., Krizalid) WILL BE TERMINATED.")

Two things:

1) Southtown wasn't destroyed!! The warehouse where the last fight took place was destroyed... along with a block or two, but Southtown as a whole was still there.

2) Nests didn't exactly give up on cloning. Remember, the Ling that Heidren was talking to was a clone, made by Zero.

But if you think about it when they threw in the idea of the clones it made things all that much more confusing.
