How do you enable the hidden strikers in KOF 2000?

I just got KOF 2000 for my Neo Geo AES, and I've tried two different codes to enable the hidden "another strikers", but neither of them seem to be working. One was up, left, left, left, right, right, right, down. The other was something like left, up, right, right, right, down. Neither of them worked. Do I havet to hold start or something while i'm doing it? Someone help! <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0">

1.Press start button and hold
2.up,left,left,left,right,right,right,down

You have to start this commend from original striker not another striker.
For example, you got to input the commend from Iori not Mature&Vice to get A.Iori.

Thanks! Uhm... also, could anyone recommend someone that makes avatars and what not? I REALLY want one of Mark of the wolvees Terry's win picture, with the in-game character doing the Buster Wolf at the bottom, and his name under it. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Hey... are you SURE these are the commands for the HOME system? 'Cause I just tried it, and it didn't work.

Yeah...

I got AES & kof2k as well, and the commend is same for Home version and MVS.
I will just check it for you...

Okay! I got it to work. You were half right. You have to input it from VICE & MATURE, not Iori. Thanks for the help! <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

holding start is not necessary for the hidden strikers

just highlight the character's another striker and enter the code. man, i think Another Iori is more useful. i mean, when you call him out, he comes out real fast with a flying kick attack and follows it up with a Talon Combo.

The another Iori is freaking deadly you can combo so many move with it its not even funny. Actually it is if the other player doesn't block it and you Heat Driver or Orochinagi into it.
