i have never seen any snk games except capcom vs snk 2 which is was of course made by capcom. but this is snk were talking about. was there ever a time when mvs boards asked for 0.50 or more? i remember i had to pay 0.50 for world heros.

LoL. Dude, over here in Mexico MVS arcades are as cheap as 50 Mexican cents, nowadays... That's like 5 US cents!!!!!!!! LoL. Not to mention before they cost like 20 Mexican cents... LoL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

man, if you go to Japan, sometimes new releases are 200 yen!
that's $2.

And people don't care really.

And only the old games or games in backwater areas will be cheap like 50 yen ($.50)

Ok, ok. You guys have brought up the international rates, but my (ripoff!!!) arcade has the '00 machine rigged up for 3 to start, 2 to continue. I wish they would set it up like the '97/'98 machine for a quarter! In my wildest dreams

around my area in the US i live in michigan i have never seen a neo machine that charged over 25 cents to play. not even for a new release.

It all depends on your arcade managers. Back when I was in college, they'd sometimes set the machine to $0.50 start/$0.25 continue. If you find an MVS set up like that, you might be able to use a funny (and dirty) little trick; when you lose a game and you're at the continue timer, put in one quarter (it'll say you have 0 credits left). Then run out the timer. When the timer runs to zero, you'll have a full credit, but can start over at the beginning (without having to continue).
