Been debating this a while....

I'm sure alot of you guys already played KoF series upto 2000, right?

Well Robert Garcia in KoF'99 as "charged" char is pretty kewl IMO...

Should he remain a "charged" character or "controlled" char on future KoF's. What are y'all preferences of this sleeper character KoF Robert Garcia?!?

Any of you guys great on playing him as "charged" as much as "controlled"???

I do know I enjoyed playing Robert as "charged" character. I can do some Guile-esque combos with'im, hhehehehehh.... <IMG SRC="smilies/tickled.gif" border="0">

well i play both and i like both <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
but i think the "perfect" robert garcia will be robert with his moves of kof2000 AND his genuine kick like in aof(forward,backward,foward+kick) <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I don,t like the Guile version of Robert (99-2000), he hasn,t a chance against best characters (Kyo,Iori,Terry....) so the 98`version can kill them.

from 94 to 98 i was the biggest robert fan ever(some people say i look like him) then this completly messed up wanna be guile in 99
i've prayed that he will come back to normal in 2000...but shit!
hope for 2002

Regarding KoF'99:

I'd say I actually prefer the charged one. One can actually pull off quite a nifty bunch of combos with him but I feel like he's more of a response character now. I mean it's quite hard to charge up stuff while attacking except maybe Jump in df + B/D > charge down > up + A/C > charge down > up + B/D. It's more like you charge while blocking somebody's attacking and then 'WHAM!' <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Loads of fun to play with though, I think he was one of the harders char's in '99 to master.

Hey, heeeyyy! I know what ya mean man. Robert Garcia and another one named YAMAZAKI are the LORDS OF STYLE AND FINESSE in street fighting (well in the KoF's anyways).

According to all reports, he's back to being a manual (non-charge) character in 2001. I couldn't be happier, myself. He's even got a shin shoryuken ripoff DM, apparently, though I'm not as happy about that.
