Will the DC version of KOF 2K use 2D backgrounds or 3D??

Anyone know? I know that KOF 99 dream match did. I truly hope they stick with 2D backgrounds as I just didn't like the 3D ones from 99. They looked okay but something was just a little off about them.

Well 3D backgrounds aren't that bad. It's the game itself that make it stink if it's 3D.

i say 3d is ok as long as the game is in high res not just the backgrounds

The backgrounds in KOF 99 evolution (3D) is pretty nice, even if i like the original ones better.

The backgrounds in KOF 1999 dream match suck thought.

Dude kof2k1 backgrounds were weak.Kof 2k on dc looked way better.Congrats playmore on a phat conversion.I played this game more then my newly aquired kof 2k1 on mvs.Kick ass backgrounds and music as well.2 d backgrouns look good if drawn well.But 3d backgrounds look good on a naomi board.Examples

Guilty Gear X
Marvel Vs Capcom 2
Capcom vs Snk 2

And others those backgrounds rock but not as hardcore as on Mark of the wolves man those backgrounds are just special!
