Look, I know my Neo Geo. Metal Slug 3 is DAMN big. Does anyone think that SNK might put MS3 on the CD? I want opinions, but I think not. It's to large, it takes a long time to load as it is. Does anyone agree or think otherwise?

Theres no way theyll release it on cd. they never released garou nor will they ever. Its a dead system and no new games will ever be available for it anytime soon!

It pains me to say it, but the Neo-CD has seen its last title in KOF'99.

As Todd said, they never released Garou for it. Garou has been out quite a while on AES- we'd have seen it on CD a long time ago if it were to come out. We also missed out on some good ones like Blazing Star, Shock Troopers 1 and 2, etc.

Metal Slug 2 did have some serious loading issues- it would load DURING levels sometimes, like the PlayStation version of the first MS. Quite possibly, MS3 would have as much if not more midlevel loading. There's only so much you can do with 7 MegaBytes of RAM. We've apparently seen the limits of the NGCD. ;( I'll bet SNK never expected that they'd have MVS going long enough to have the high meg titles of today when they conceived the Neo-CD around 1994- at that time, their highest ROM cart was KOF'94 (around 200 Megabits).

DC, PS2, X-box or maybe Nintendo Gamecube.
There is no way you want to play CD version. I just dig out my KOF95 for my Neo CD and KOF97 for Saturn. Loading are terrible. KOF99 Evolution on DC is still the best (almost identical to Neo Cart version, 1 or 2 seconds loading) overall. Metal Slug 3 on Neo CD? No Thanks.
