All right guys, here is the question. What does the dedicated cabinet of the Hyper Neo Geo 64 look like. Let me stress the word DEDICATED. I have seen the sit-down versions of the neo geo system in Japan, but I have not seen the dedicated version of the Hyper yet. From what I have found out is that it’s a 50” screen and very big. Is there anyone else that has seen it? If you have please reply with a URL or link for a picture of what it looks like. Thanks!

Doesn't that have a mini screen showing the same as the main screen, in the marquee area??

There is a 29" unit that looks just like my Super Neo 29. It has a hyper marquee instead of the one for mini's. Also, it has a different name. I have a pic of it at home.

The same cabinet is available with an LCD screen where the marquee goes. It also has a small camera and you can chain cabs together.

Thats a kit my friend, with an SNK cabinet.
SNK sales the cabinets with kits at lower price.
There was a USA version released that was a 50" screen and was black from what I have read.

I've seen many dedicated hyper neo geo cabinets. They are VERY nice, they look like dynamo cabinets. (The ones with the 30+" screens)they are red and have Hyper Neo Geo printed on each side of the system. (There are 2 in golfland in sunnyvale, CA)

Sad to say Fox1, thats a kit also. A kit can be as small as a board to as big as a PCB and everthing else needed to look like the dedicated system. That is how awsome SNK is, they try to make their systems look good for everyone.
How you know if it is a dedicated cabinet or not is buy what is different from the other systems. If there is something propritary to it that only SNK would do then you may be looking at a dedicated system.
Example, on the dedicated cabinets for the MVS systems you will find a LED coin/credit count and also the headphones/memorycard slot. All these are extras.

This is its ONE AND ONLY TRUE CABINET it was used for HSS64, SS64-2, WILD AMBITION, and B1... In short this was the Fighting system cabinet. I think it is "D-SHIT" of all Arcade cabinets.. after even more homework it cost around $10,000 US to have this bad boy.

Im on the hunt for one.. FYI: I was told only 50-200 were ever made.

ALso... Im working on a website all about the Hyper and the MVS systems.. ill post something when its close to the finishing point.

IS THAT NOT JUST A BAD-ASS CABINET ! ! !

I have seen one of those at the Sunnyvale Golfland. It looks like crap since they don't take care of it. I like the style of the cabinet but isn't 10,000 dollars too much for that cabinet? Does it come complete or just the cabinet?

The one at Sunnyvale golfland is also running Guilty gear X, right? I seriously doubt there is rareity for these cabs. SNK probably sold 20000 worldwide. I mean, go to HK or Brazil, or even France - those places are literally littered with SNK dedicated cabs. Arcades may not be popular in the US, but that's not true for the rest of the world.
