I ordered a Hyper set from Vektorlogic over 10 days ago and still have yet to receive it. I emailed them regarding this matter and as of right now, there has been no answer. Has anyone else out there had a similar experience?

Call them. Remember to adjust for the timezone difference. Yes, you will be making an international call. If you are a NEO-GEO gamer, the cost is of no consequence.

WTF is that?
If they dont respond promptly via email,
then thats bullshit.

I'd call them collect. If they cant be bothered to hit reply, then the least they should do is pick up the tab for a call.

If they wish to sell to neogeo fans, then their cost is of less consequence,
than a unhappy fan who did not recieve
what they paid for.

Shou-sama-

My Hyper kit was eaten by customs, according to VL. They did promptly respond and dispatch another set, however.

I often find that the customs line is just an excuse rather the truth especially in the States. Why does it seem that all of the Neo dealers are shady? :P

Jeff at Vektor has, historically, been very responsive and friendly with the folks here on the site. If that has changed, it would be something new. Don't give up, but don't write them off yet either. There may be a good reason for the delay in communication.

When I have dealt with Vektorlogic they provided an excellent service.
If there is a problem, then I'm sure theres a perfectly good reason.

Actually, I won some items from him through EBAY and I sent him payment according to his terms, but I have not receive either items nor get any emails or a phone call from him if there are problems. I did sent him email twice already that if there are no reply from him then i'll simply reallocate my funds and debunk the whole transaction and condider seller non-responsive and close it at that. I still have no replies. Its too bad though, I really want I purchased from him only to him to leave me hanging this way. I tell you my faith is wearing thin but i'll give hima chance. Good luck to all of us!

Hi,

I bought from Jeff @ VL twice and had no problem. Well, just once it took him a few days to answer emails as he was on holidays. This guy now is very powerfull on Neo stuff but he is still a normal guy like us (you are, aren't you ? ) so as this is summer he just might be on holidays and for experience I know that he no one access is emails while he is away (this is the reason I had to wait a few days in my case).

Just keep on waiting or give them a call if you are frightened. Anyway, would they have any interest losing our trust whereas they are about to release new games of which we will probably be the only customers ?...

Well, there still isn't a Hyper Neo setup in my place and no reply from Vektorlogic. Regardless of their past history, the service I have received thus far has been piss poor.

Shou-sama,

I had no problem getting my system within a week or so.

I think the problem Jeff has is shipping to your location: the moon - LOL

Hello Shou-sama, if you're around, you can email Jeff Ferrier [Vectorlogic] now, he's in his office today so try and catch him and inquire about you're stuff. He just emailed me and assured that if my items weren't shipped at all, they'll be shipped today. Good luck, Man!!!

typically this means that they already sent your package, and they expect that after you get it, within the next few days, you'll stop bothering them.

It took my package a little over a week to get to me. Of course, it was coming overseas, to Pittsburgh, the sphincter of the united states.

I finally received a reply from Jeff stating that he would get me tracking info but he hasn't. So, it's been over 2 weeks since he got my payment and I have nothing. He has time to post to Usenet but no time to help a paying customer?

Ive ordered from a couple british companies in the past (Not Jeff).

And I have found them all to be very slow to reply to emails, slow with information ect.

Maybe its something in the water.

OK

Here we go - the past 2 weeks has seen me trying to get my company back in my control after 10 weeks of divorce settlement proceedings - I now have it :-)

Eric - I presume it is Eric - your system should be with you - and we did send you a tracking number via e-mail. All other outstanding e-mails will be responded to by the end of today - not very easy to send bulk mails via a laptop and a cellphone at 9.6K so bear with me today.

Difficult to get hold of - yes sometimes - but it's no secret in the industry that I also fly for the military - Tornado aicraft to be precise - so you aren't going to be able to get me at your beck and call as you may be able to with some heads of businesses - yes there are peope in the office who deal with sales enquiries - when you send to sales@vektorlogic.com - but if you mail to me directly - you'll have to wait until I get the mail. Not trying to be negative about this situation, just trying to explain the facts.

Finally - for the gamers out there - we are working on 2 new platforms for the arcade and 6 new software titles - guess who runs the supervision on those projects - moi!

So - all in all - been fairly busy of late - but all will be dealt with in the next few days - Eric - you can respond by letting everyone know that you have got your Hyper set :-)

Thanks

JF

Sorry to hear you going through divorce settlement proceedings.
Are you developing anymore titles for the HYPER NEO 64 in the future?
Also I have an idea for a MVS/Hyper 64 title(Its a puzzle/action game). I have a bunch of concept artwork and information on ideas, who could I send it to in your company to see if it's any good?

Well, I had requested all Japanese kits if possible but my Samurai 64 is the world version. My boards don't seem to save my settings. Everytime I boot up, I have to hit test and change things around. Is there a battery somewhere that I'm not aware of? Also, even if I set Samurai 64's language to Japanese the voices are in some other language, maybe Portugese(?). Besides the above, everything else is fine.
