Superguns are perfect for the hyper. You want to make sure that the jamma harness you use though will be more than just a couple inches long, because you will have to flip the harness over for it to get into the board (the jamma harness for the MAS supernova is too short to be able to fit into large boards, so the nova needs to be flipped over <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" /> ). The hyper uses a 4 button layout. Have fun!

I have a MAS systems Nova and it works with my 64( the jamma harness fits perfect.)The only thing is the stereo output on the 64 varies,( doesn't run thru the jamma). You just have to wire it in the nova, no big deal. Also it seems that the mas nova gets bashed in this forum, and the one I got from them rocks. Looks best on my rgb monitor( of coarse),and looks great on a 27" and big screen( 43" sony, I didn't experience any wave lines, it's crystal clear), so when people bash it, I don't undestand. Maybe they had an old version, my advice is to go with a Mas Nova. I also like the 64 alot, the graphics aren't mind blowing but awesome in my opinion, I only own Wild Ambition, but plan on getting Samsho 64. This is where you can get one cheap......... ..NEONUT

I love the NOVA. I hear a lot of people bash it's picture quality, but I really have no idea what they are talking about (I don't have RGB, and it's still awesome). The only thing I don't like about it is the short jamma harness. It's good if you just want to lay your jamma board on top of the system, but sucks if you have one of the newer boards that are much bigger (like the ones that come with CDrom extentions).

Call mas systems and ask them to make you a jamma extention, I think he will make one. It might help. Also if you remove the bottom of the nova, you may be able to uncsrew the power supply and slide everything forward, that would give you 2 " at least...................NEONUT

Good call. That's another good thing about the NOVA. It is easily modified (for sound, extra buttons whathaveyou...).
