Test switch and joystick question

I read in some other posts that you connect pin 15 on the H64 board to any ground. First (pardont my ignorance) what is a ground and where is it located. I'm using a super nova so where how would i get to test mode using that. Second. How do you get the 4th button to work on a nova. It says you have to connect a auxiliary connector to a 10 pin adapter cable. What does this mean? I'd appreciate any help.

Its the Pin on the jamma harness, not on the H64

Pin 25 is the 1p 4th button. what u connect this to on the Nova i dont know without having a look <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

Thanks. I got into the test mode but my 4th button is not working. I'll have to call MAS.
