I called video connection about getting one and they told me I would have to rewire the power supply in my cab. I thought they were just a regualr jamma board like the normal 4 slot. Can anyone explain what they mean by this? Thanks. Also they want $275 for the board and one game. Is that a pretty standard price. I have not been looking for one that long.

The prices on their carts are a little steep, you can get them much cheeper. I checked their list and it shows the hyper MB is $99, I think that is about right. You can get carts on eBay under $100 each. What I was told about the power is that the sound needs an additional power source. I have one coming in the mail to me soon so I'm not sure yet.

I was refered to this:

For $299 you can get a brand new jamma system with 3 games of your choice from www.vektorlogic.co.uk

that is where most of us got ours from and their service is excellent

I thought I remebered reading that there was a version of the board that did use the jamma plug for sound. Is that correct?

Yes, the version that Vektorlogic sells is the JAMMA version. It also has an MVS switch so it can be plugged into an MVS cabinet without modification. As was mentioned, their price is $295 for the board and 3 games, all brand new.
