I'm really thinking about getting one of these(whenever I can get some cash) but I'm wondering what I'll need. Does it have controller ports to use regular neo sticks? Currently I have a 4 slot and I use a jamma harness connected to a commodore monitor for rgb. Do I need a supergun to play a HNG?

Ok Mooky, the Hyper Neo 64 was original designed as a replacement(in the long run) to the MVS system. It was a multi-purpose board designed for both 2D and 3D games. Games come in cartridges(alot bigger than MVS carts) and plugged into the motherboard. There are two revisions of the motherboard, from what I've hear the 1st needed a seperate power supply and wasn't very popular. So a 2nd version was made which just works like a normal mvs motherboard, just plug it in and play. It wasn't very popular, only Samurai Shodown 64 made it to the USA, with a couple of racing games. Plus it recieved alot of bad press.
Well by late 98/early 99 SNK dropped it. Only 4 fighting games were made for it:
SAMURAI SHODOWN 64
SAMURAI SHODOWN 64: WARRIORS RAGE
FATAL FURY: WILD AMIBITION
BURIKI ONE

I think it's great, especially for the price.
Pick one up if you can. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
