KOF '99 Evolution to the US Dreamcast...check out the 3D bg's

Not sure if this was posted in here yet, but I was highly impressed with this. I am going to get this instead of the NeoGeo version...don't have too much cash flow to be spending like that anymore. Hopefully we will see a US launch of Last Blade 2 for the Dreamcast.

If Agetec ported this game, is it possible that we might see KOF 2000??? That would be awesome if they could pull that off...

Agtec didn't do the port of KoF '99, SNK did (just like with DM'99). Except instead of the now defunct SNK-USA publishing it in the US (as they did with DM'99), Agtec is, since SNK can't. They just picked it up from release limbo for us in the US.

Nonetheless, those screens do looks aswome and I am looking forward to December 12 and the release of this game. I think agetec deserves kudos for seeing the release through of this game.

Very impressive. I'm also looking forward to the release. Were these bg's in the import version? I'm glad I didn't buy it. It would've been a hassle since I don't have an import DC.

By the way, I was hyped up in getting KoF 99' for the Neo Geo, but if this DC release looks so good-why bother buying a cart? Maybe all the popular carts - GMOTW, Last Blade 2, etc. - will be ported over. Would it still be logical for me or any other newbie to buy the Neo Geo carts, besides the collection aspect?

Yo man KOF 99' evolution on the DC is old news. Iv'e had the import for about 5 monthes now.

Agetek is just releaseing the game in the USA (Since snk pulled out of the usa), Just like Activision did with V.O.O.T on the DC.

KOF evo is a fun game, But they cut alot of animations, The 3-D backrounds keep the game worth playing though.
