Just like everyone know that NCS has sent out notice to those who preordered KOF 2001, so set all the worries aside, the game is coming

___________________________________________

Dear NCS Customer,

We are confirming preorders for the Japanese and English versions of Neo-Geo King of Fighters 2001 today. Please note that pricing stands at US$295 for either the English or Japanese version of King of Fighters 2001 due to the higher pricing of this release (Y39800 which converts into US$309.29 at this morning's forex spot rate). Our original tentative price for this product was US$268 when we started preorders last year.

If you have already placed an online order, you don't need to reply and your order will be processed and shipped automatically on or around March 14. New preorders for either version of the game may be submitted online at any time prior to arrival of KOF 2001. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.

Guess there's no more worries about KOF 2001 now.
Although NCS is charging $295, just like Shawn is!

Nope. It was the first time the price of a home cart breeched the $300 mark retail price brand new. It had ALWAYS been $268 or better before that. I remember when Metal Slug US was NEW and sold for $268 at NCS. My friend passed on it because he didn't know what it was at the time.....if only he knew then what he knows now......funny huh?

It's still the most expensive AES cart I've ever bought so far...

When i see and actual Confimation from Shawn then i'll believe the new's untill then, don't keep your hopes so high....
NCS is a good source but not the best, so until the Real Neo Source (Shawn) say's it's confirm and ready, then i'll believe.......
I mean i don't even see a PIC.....

My pre-order was made like a month ago by a friend who did some deals with me on a Resident Evil Briefcase and some PS2 games, MVS, ect. The price was quoted at $268 and should have stayed there, Shawn was right all along. I think I will try and get the order through with Shawn now. Atleast I know who I will be spending my money with then. I would rather give it to someone I know than a stranger.

No, NCS is in fact the best. That's why I preordered with them (and always do).

Then why when everyone talks about when it's going to come out and stuff like that, why doesnt he reply, saying when the package will arrive and shit....
I'm not saying i don't believe Shawn or anything like that, i'm just saying why is it so quiet and how come no pics?

The pic? He might not even have it at the moment. And, who cares, as long as the person who ordered get the game? I don't know if NCSX even has it yet. I am sure Shawn & NCSX will post the pics in due time, when they get it.

Anyways, when I inquired NCSX about the packaging, this is what they told me:

"Hi, the KOF 2001 AES game does include a standard
case + manual. The person may be referring to the MVS version, which ships in a plain cardboard container"

Of course, why didn't I think of that
<img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" /> So those who had this reservation, can put your mind at ease...
