I know I could get flamed for this but I really don't like that flyer. The flyer artwork is not up to the high standard set by the other slug titles.

The artwork resembles that of the artwork for video games from the late 70's,early 80's.
The fiery background throws it off for me because it just appears as if it does'nt belong.
Metal Slug 2 artwork just totally ROX.
I'm not too crazy about the MS 3 artwork @ all.

And they sure as (Expletive Deleted) better make an AES version. I mean, c'mon!! You already have the MVS, just go ahead and complete the cycle; bring it out on AES. Now.

Haha well put ORPHEUS, exactly what is on my mind. It just doesn’t look good. The quality is poor; seems like it was slapped together in a couple minutes. The colors look washed out and don’t go well with each other. Hopefully the game looks better then the artwork.

EDIT: And another thing. Why is that new gray haired guy doing a jumping kick? Wouldn’t it be more appropriate if he was holding a large gun, or maybe a grenade? WTF, just like I said, no though behind it, looks too rushed.

...but i must say..when i look longer at it...i mean it's funny....yeah thanks to the moves underpands.....but......the artstyle is realy not my thing !!!

and....this two new charakters are so big on it...hey...where is tarma !!!

hm...hope the game is better !!!!

With all respect, thats the worse flyer i've ever seen :(
The old original character barely appear (only marco).
Fio is a main character, and it doesnt appear on that flyer :(

As soon as i saw it i knew it wasn't up to par. it totally sucks! some of our members here are very talented and can draw up a way better flyer. maybe that's what they need to show them that this series is something you don't fuck with. <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" /> <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" /> <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" />

Yeah, it just doesn't fit in with the series... and I agree with Big Bear about the time period remark (notice the complete lack of detail in the visage of the female)... maybe it would have been cooler if it were a few thousand pixels larger.

It looks alright, but it can't hold a candle to the Metal Slug flyers of old (X and 3 especially).

Hey, there's more than fucking Slugs. I mean, in the last two weeks lots of this MS4 spam showed up, including the usual flames of all those next-gen slaves who stupidly repeat all the nice marketing statements of Sony/big N/MS.

And then ppl who stand by their Neo get attacked in return, from the very same slaves, on a Neo Geo BBS... ...that's more than weird, sorry.

Looks like an ad for "kiddie time Sat. morn cartoons...........NOT like a professional Slug game..............not to my liking at all.
