Some info for you all regarding the AES. This info came direct from Playmore, and is just an abrideged version of an email I recieved.
First off, Playmore have no plans whatsoever to sell or produce snap-lock cases for individual purchase. They're classed as an individual component part of the AES cart (just like the chips). Playmore's stance is that they will not supply anyone (and I do mean anyone) with individual AES component parts.
Collectors breath a sigh of relief. Playmore will not be releasing or indeed re-releasing any of SNK's back catalogue. So those of you hoping to see Metal Slug or Blazing Star re-released on AES - forget it. It's never going to happen.
MVS only titles will remain like that. So no official releases of Zupapa, Strikers 1945 or SDB (to name but a few).
Although Playmore will not comment on games currently in development or confirm what they're working on, they have said that they are seriously considering developing MVS titles outside the fighting genre. So the possibility of new Big Tournament Golf's, Blazing Star's, and Super Sidekicks is not too remote at all.
Playmore ARE taking legal action against a certain outfit based in Las Vegas that stamp inserts, ruin inserts, and can't deliver what they promise. Future Episodes of Judge Judy should be most interesting...
That is all....
