Crystal System coming to the neo store

I just checked the neo store, the Crystal System is coming soon! Damn i wish i had the money, i believe in the system in the long-term...

I wish i was more into the neo geo a while ago, i wouldn't have to catch up with all that i missed...

Well at least it isn't like a grand, 495 isn't to bad, Crystal of Kings isn't really my thing, but that Evolution Soccer looks pretty cool.

Could you point me in the direction to see what it looks like, I have not been on the boards for a while so im kinda lost, is it a home system?

I'd like to see a crystal kings review before I drop down the cash. The soccer game looks great though...

I hope shawn sells the soccer game and anythign else that comes out for it.

500 for the system, how much are games? The Crystal of Kings looks cool, not really interested in soccer. Hope to see other goodies for it.

My thoughts exactly. That's downright reasonable even if Crystal Kings isn't that good...shit...it's basically free. Agreed Evolution looks good, if we can get a killer app from NeoGeoUSA we'll be in business.

The order for the Crystal Systems w/ CoK cartridges was placed directly with BrezzaSoft Corporation. The complete shipment was sent Friday, February 22nd from Japan. As of yesterday, only “one” day later, the shipment was already in Memphis, TN USA @ the FedEx Sort Facility!

There is very little markup on the Crystal System w/ Crystal of Kings. In fact, total cost is still unknown. FedEx International Priority shipping was billed to my FedEx account for all 20 systems and 20 cartridges, two packages.

Consoles are often sold at cost, or even at loss, in order to build a user base. My intentions are similar, to simply get the system out there. Future software for the Crystal System will also be supported and provided from the Neo Store. Evolution Soccer is already completed and is currently available as a test copy. The release for this title should be just around the corner.

I think the price is very reasonable, considering the price of some new mvs kits currently.

I hope the neo store still carries these in a few months when i'll have enough money for it!

A couple of questions regarding the crystal system:

- what else is needed upon purchase to run this system + games on my TV?

- what is the expected price range of the upcoming games themselves?

- will any of the popular SNK series make their appearance on the Crystal system?

At least questions 1+2 can be answered I suppose ;)

i can answer question one, you will need some kind of super gun type unit, like the super nova from <a href="http://www.massystems.com." target="_blank">www.massystems.com.</a>

For the price range, i have heard Brezza aims to sell their stuff at a very inexpensive price... I think they aim to sell more kits to arcade owners by having the lowest price possible.

The price in the Neo Store for the Crystal System + game (Crystal of Kings) is incredibly cheap! I called Video Connection to see how much they could get me one for, and they said $895!! Even allowing for the fact that VC overcharges on this item, thats a pretty insane difference in pricing . . . MUCH lower from the Neo Store!! :eek:
