Actually, 38 billion yen, with exchange rates as they are at 6:22 A.M. Eastern Time, would be $301,883,877.61 USD.

Hey Shawn, want to buy SNK?

I have two opinions on this:
FIRST:
HAHAHA! those stupid sons of
bithes at SNK finally got what they
deserve for being some of the most
bussiness innept schmucks in the
gaming industry and fucking every
thing up. maybe now they will
learn from thier mistakes.they
deserved all of the bad shit that
they had to go thrue, period!

SECONDLY:
HAHAHA! bye bye ARUZE, you bunch
cocksuckers. GOD I HATED that
company. with any luck SNK can
get free from Aruze and hire some
people that actualy know business
could it be that SNK will be what
they once were.

Hopefully they can turn their business around. It would be cool if SNK could start turning profits and possible make their way back into the US market.

How the fuck did SNK get THAT far into debt??? The hyper 64 or what? Did Aruze actually think they could fix that? When was SNk sold?
Later.

Thats easy to answer. Their home system, and CD system have always been a nich system, Every new cart game and CD since who knows had a print run less than 10k, so they lost money on that left and right. The hyper probly lost them some dough.

Oddly enough the neo pocket has probobly been their best money maker for a long while. Even though aruze canned it in the US, they still sold 200k systems here, which is way better than the home system EVER did in america. In japan at least the neo pocket is on the charts for system sales.

Making hardwear and systems is extremely expensive, hell why do you think sega is in dept so much? SNK just started making console games steady a few years ago, they should start making money again. They need to make some big console games that will sell tho. Just 2-D fighters will not bring in the huge cash anymore, capcom knows this more than anyone
