A thought about MotW2 AES

Yes, I know some of you will jump my sh!t for slamming MotW in earlier posts. But despite my dissappointment in the game, I look forward to MotW2. My question was this; if we got a list of interested AES owners that equalled or surpassed 2000 copies, do you think we'd stand a chance at getting it? I'm sure this is'nt an original idea, but if we get started now, we may be able to pull together an order in a few months. I, for one, could care a less if it's Japanese only, as long as it has nothing to do with any other NON-SNK/ARUZE parties that shall remain unmentioned. Any thoughts, or info on if this is being done would be appreciated.
Thanks,
AOF

Count me in for a MotW 2 pre-order. I agree with you that if there are enough people who are dead serious about purchasing a home version, then we shall have MotW 2 as part of our home collection - doesn't that sound exciting. You can do it SNK!

So how do we do it? Should we get a petition going & send it to Apple Photo Systems and SNK Japan (or what's left of SNK)? Even if they have a history of ignoring the home system, we owe it to ourselves to try. Obviously, this site would be an excellent place to start. Shawn, can you give me some ideas here?

I'm in on this one too. MOTW is probably my favorite SNK game next to Metal Slug 3. MOTW 2 should really be something.

C'mon Shawn, whadoya say?

Count me in.

But someone will have to organize all this, and make a deal with SNK or Aruze.
Any volunteers? Insert and manual also have to be SNK authentic, no URL's on the insert or manual

I think Shawn should do it. He's got the respect of the Neo community and I know if I had to send him payment in advance he wouldn't end up ripping me off.

I'm all about MotW 2 for the AES.

I made the mistake of not buying when the first one came out, so there is no way i'm missing the second one.

Yep, that would be great!! Count me in as well. Shall they even bring it out on Naomi 2, I have the home equivalent, so I don't see any problem.

Well, guy's another news...My Importers (have more than one, so the chances of getting a title and compare prices is higher and better...) say that SNK will definetly make a port of Garou: MOTW (1) for Dreamcast. Since the already existing Ports on DC are good stuff, I don't have the fear that they have to take any animations out....

It will be a while until MotW 2 is on home cart. If you want SNK to continue pumping out home carts, our concern should be Sengoku 3. After the MVS version is released, there would be a wait of around 3 months until the home version hits. NGF’s attempt to have SNK make a run of Nightmare in the Dark was a complete failure. They do not have the fans support, nor do they have the required resources to make a full scale release a reality. They are not the neo’s future, they are a dead end.

SNK will not make a home cart production unless there is a minimum order of 2000. How many of you would be willing to purchase Sengoku 3 on home cart? That is if it was an official SNK home cart production of Sengoku 3 with no affiliation with NGF. Even if every member of the forums preordered a copy, we would still be short 1300+. It would be great to see Sengoku 3, Motw 2, & LB3 become official SNK releases, but it would take some serious fan support. SNK is not dead. As long as they continue to release MVS games, home cart productions will be a possibility.
