It'd be nice if they ported games to other systems and used that $$$ as life-support on the Neo... oh wait... they already seem to be doing that.
The only problem is that like everyone's said, aracades are a dying breed, and like it or not, 2D fighters and 2D side scrollers, while still amazingly fun, are going the way of the Dodo because people are sheep and the do what the big corporations tell them. Nintendo, Sony and Sega tell us that 3D gaming is where it's at... so they HAVE to be correct, right? Everyone (figuratively speaking) is in favor of flashy 3D graphics, and the Neo can't do that.
I'm am pleasantly surprised it's lasted as long as it has, and I for one, am glad it had such a long run. Wish they'd continue on forever, but when a company isn't making money anymore, which I am sure they are getting to the ass end of the life cycle for the Neo, how can they expect to support something like the Neo?
I always wondered why they never did what Nintendo did with the Super FX chip.
