OK. This is my take on the whole deal:
1.Neo home-cart systems were never meant to play MVS carts. I personally like the spin that the !arcade! converter puts on things. MVS boards that play MVS carts are nothing special (read:no "cool" factor), but an AES doing the same thing is another story
2.Superguns and like systems are bulky and can be messy at times. A home system w/ converter is more aesthetically
pleasing in general.
3.I have to admit that the AES II looks promising, but I'm wary of the quality of manufacture so far. A converter is one thing, but this system still has to prove its reliability. Time will tell.
4.If the AES II really takes off, its possible that !arcade! will stop manufacturing the converter all together, and concentrate solely on their new system. If this does happen, you have a relatively small number of converters in public circulation, and the Phantom-1 will become a collectors piece for those who want to stick with official SNK hardware
