I think that everyone should try to pick there own, however I don't think that Shawn should do anything to prevent multiple people from using the same one. If any of us want something completely original then we should make it and mail it to Shawn.

If you want a pic that only you can use, just email it to me and I will create a custom directory that only you can see. Must be a static gif, 64 x 64 pixels or smaller, and please include your user name along with the submission. It’s been quite time consuming trying to match emails with user names.

Mail to either address. Actually you could send to (anything)@neo-geo.com and it will still get to me. It would help save a step if you named the gif your user name exactly as it is spelled, caps and all.

I agree. Everyone should have their own pic so you have a recognizable id. Just the same as sigs. besides, it is easy to just send exactly what you want to Shawn and have it for your custom.
